Notes:
n1/ Beginning on 2010, with the application of the National Household Survey (ENAHO), which replaces the Multi-Purpose Household Survey (EHPM), a series of methodological changes were made that imply that as of this year, the absolute values are not comparable with data from previous years. One of the main changes is that the working-age population is now measured as people aged 15 years and over, when previously it was defined as the population aged 12 and over.
n2/ As of 2011, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC) uses the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) 4; previously, the ISIC 3 was used.
